BREEZE ExDAM HExDAM module contains the High Explosive (HE) numerical model. It provides a fast and accurate means to predict over/dynamic pressure, impulse, and then damage/injury due to primary/secondary HEs with consideration of shielding effect.

The BREEZE ExDAM VExDAM module contains the Vapor Cloud Explosion (VCE) numerical model. It provides a fast and accurate means to predict over/dynamic pressure, impulse, and then damage/injury due to primary/secondary VCEs with consideration of shielding effect.

BREEZE ExDAM 3D Extend Extension

The BREEZE ExDAM 3D Extend extension is compatible with both ExDAM VExDAM and ExDAM HExDAM modules. The 3D Extend extension broadens the capability of BREEZE ExDAM by providing users with the ability to import 2D and 3D files, thereby enabling users to design and analyze the modeling scenario more quickly and with greater efficiency. This extension is designed to improve the modeling setup process by automatically creating structures instead of requiring users to manually draw them.

Highlighted Features:

  • Imports geometric data with the following 2D and 3D vector/polygon data file formats (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MicroStation, Sketchup, etc.)
  • Automates the process of creating and positioning structure blocks when Esri 3D building files are imported
  • Provides users with the ability to edit 2D and 3D geometry files that are displayed as 3D Map data objects in the Project data tree
  • Uses a manual editing mode to quickly create a series of connected blocks along a contour line on an XY plane, which is very useful for generating complex-shaped and curved structures

The BREEZE ExDAM HExFRAG extension is compatible with the ExDAM HExDAM module. The HExFRAG extension enhances the high explosive modeling capability of HExDAM by providing users with the ability to predict secondary fragmentation injuries. These injuries are caused by damage to frangible materials (e.g., flying glass from a broken window). The extension is designed to provide an advanced analysis of a high explosion scenario where the effects of blast shields and other objects are taken in to consideration.

  • Calculates fragmentation injuries for frangible materials in high explosive scenarios
  • Defines custom materials for fragmentation simulations
  • Displays advanced 2D and 3D graphical and tabular results including color-coded injury to personnel
