The Vulnerability tab displays specific vulnerability parameters which can be used for characterizing a structure or human body component in BREEZE ExDAM HExDAM and VExDAM modules.
BREEZE VASDIP calculates the damage/injury level produced by a specific combination of pressure and impulse values. If the magnitude of the blast and exposure to structural and human body components is unknown, then the vulnerability parameters generated using the Vulnerability Tab in VASDIP can be exported to create a distinct structure or human body component in BREEZE ExDAM HExDAM or VExDAM modules.
Users can use this information to help determine where the structural and human body components can be positioned at various ranges from a detonation and the resulting damage levels prediction can be observed. This method can help establish how far from the detonation point, with a specified yield, a particular structural design or human body component should be positioned. The structural design can be optimized with respect to one or more parameters by generating a number of different sets of vulnerability parameters for an analysis with BREEZE ExDAM HExDAM or VExDAM modules.
