The MetData Plot and MetData Table tabs each have their own customization menus which allow the user to create custom plots and tables for each meteorological data file.

Similar to the Windrose Table custom menu, the MetData Table custom menu allows the user to set a variety of colors to customize how the table looks. The MissingData option allows the user to select a color in which all missing data will be highlighted in so that it can be easily identified. There is also a drop-down list to change the font and add various features such as bold, italic, and underlined text. When one of these formatting options is selected, it is applied to the entire table.

The MetData Table can sort the data by individual columns. Simply clicking on a column heading will sort the data in ascending order. Another click will reverse the selection and sort by descending order.

MetData Plot

The MetData Plot is a brand new tool which allows the user to create custom plots of meteorological data. The MetData Plot has two menus to customize the plot view: MetData Variables and MetData Plot.

MetData Variables

The MetData Variables menu will change based on the type of file that is opened by the user. MetView recognizes the data contained in various meteorological files and makes the headings available to plot via this menu.

Selecting the check box next to each variable will display that variable in the plot view for period of time selected in the Date Range menu. The plot will add a new axis for each data parameters selected and automatically color code each variable to its corresponding axis.

The HourLines option shows up to 24 different lines for each parameter and connects data points for the specified hour of each day (i.e. one line connects values taken at hour 1, one line connects values taken at hour 2, etc.).
Plot Width - Allows the user to stretch or shrink the width of the plot to make it easier to read.
BackColor & ForeColor - Allows the user to change the background color as well as the color of the selected axis.
