The BREEZE Ozone File Editor allows the user to create, view, and edit hourly zone files for use in the Ozone Limiting Method (OLM). Since the OLM Model is a non-guideline model, the ARM/OLM Workgroup recommends that the permitting agency be contacted to obtain approval for its use in an air permit application.
Starting the Ozone File Editor
From the Tools menu, select the Ozone File Editor menu item. The following utility application will be displayed:

Creating a new ozone file
To create a new ozone file, do the following:
| 1. | Select the desired year in the drop down list. The year must be identical to that in the meteorological data file that you will be utilizing in your model run. |
| 2. | Click the Fill in date button. The table will be populated with the year, month, day and hours values for the entire year. The Concentration column will be set to zero by default. The Concentration fields should be set to the actual ozone concentration values for that particular hour. The Edit menu provides the common functionality of editing. You can copy and paste data just as you would in a spreadsheet. Choose copy or paste from the Edit menu. You can also use ctrl+C and ctrl+V as hot keys to perform the same operations. |
Saving an ozone file
Click menu File | Save or menu File | Save As.. or press ctrl+S.

Type the file name in the File Name list box and select Save. You then have a file that can be referenced under Input | Control Options | Ozone tab.
