Setting Control Options

Control Options

Many of the options that control how AERMOD will process the data that is entered into it are available in the Control Options form.  BREEZE provides logical groupings of these options and has exclusive "templates" that automatically eliminate options from being displayed so that they don't confuse the user.  Of course, there is a template for displaying all AERMOD options.

Fortran Executables

BREEZE gives you the option to run the standard U.S. EPA version of AERMOD or a BREEZE enhanced version that offers features not available anywhere else, including a Multi-Scenario version that allows you to model multiple emission scenarios in the amount of time it takes to model a single pollutant.  In addition, BREEZE gives you the option of choosing an older U.S. EPA version of AERMOD should you want to use a previous version.

Benefits

  • Uses the U.S. EPA versions of AERMOD.
  • Enhanced versions of AERMOD available for even more functionality.
  • Control "templates" to minimize data "overload" and streamline data entry.
  • Define multiple pollutants and store different emission scenarios in a single file.
  • Run multiple pollutants or emission scenarios in the time it takes to make a single model run.
