This course focuses on source analysis and air quality impact assessments for industrial accidental releases. The course covers model assumptions, strengths, and shortcomings. Attendees will learn to select analysis strategies and reliably critique work.
The course will present a broad overview of how to model the various hazards from accidental releases. The course will provide participants with a conceptual understanding of the assumptions behind models, and their strengths and shortcomings. As an outcome to the course, users will be able to select modeling strategies and reliably critique work. Practical modeling examples will be presented.
